Quality Improvement Programs

MPHI’s Center for Precision Public Health (CPPH) has been approved by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) as a Pediatric Portfolio Sponsor for ABP Maintenance of Certification (MOC4) activities. This allows CPPH to work with partners to design and evaluate QI projects against ABP standards and award MOC4 credit to physicians at no cost. CPPH can design MOC and QI projects to be approved by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM), the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), and other specialty Boards. Quality improvement projects increase access to health services for underserved populations and are offered at state, regional, and national levels.

Provider Education

The MPHI Center for Precision Public Health can create education programs, enduring products, and activities tailored to your needs. We can administer and approve the curriculum for Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Continuing Education (CE) for many providers, including MD/DO, Nursing, Social Work, MCBAP, and SECH.

ECHO Facilitation

ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) is a model for facilitating learning and mentoring. It offers access to state and national content experts on a specific topic or content area. The ECHO facilitation model includes an opportunity for the learners to bring a barrier, challenge, or problem in practice forward for the group to discuss and offer suggestions or new approaches. The ECHO model allows and structures the sessions for two-way communication between the content expert and the learner. ECHO facilitation projects address health equity, improving access to care, and increasing knowledge. The motto is, All Teach. All Learn.
